Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 November 2026

These terms apply when you use BankToSheet (the "service") at banktosheet.icu. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What the service does

BankToSheet reads a bank statement you upload — a PDF, a CSV file or an image — and turns it into a spreadsheet containing dates, descriptions, amounts and running balances. The conversion is performed automatically. The result is a best-effort extraction: it is not a verified accounting record and it is not a substitute for the statement issued by your bank.

2. Not financial or legal advice

The service produces data, not advice. We are not an accountant, auditor, tax adviser or lender, and nothing produced by the service is advice of that kind. You are responsible for checking every figure before you rely on it for bookkeeping, tax, lending, audit or any other purpose.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Only upload statements for accounts you own or are authorised to process.
  • Do not upload another person's financial records without their permission.
  • Do not use the service to break the law, to launder money or to commit fraud.
  • Do not attempt to overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or resell access to it.

4. Accounts, plans and fair use

The converter can be used free of charge within the limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans raise or remove those limits. Paid access is tied to the account or licence key issued to you and may not be shared, published or resold. We may suspend an account that is used to circumvent the limits, and we will tell you why if we do.

5. Payment, Renewal and Cancellation

Payments are handled by a third-party Merchant of Record that acts as the seller of record for your purchase. That provider processes your card, issues your receipt, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and appears on your bank statement. We never see or store your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal link in your receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the period already paid for. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will look at it.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is. We aim to keep it available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature you are currently paying for, we will stop charging for it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from decisions you make based on an inaccurate conversion. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Intellectual property

You keep all rights to the files you upload and to the spreadsheets produced from them. We claim no ownership over your data. The service itself — its code, text and design — remains ours.

9. Privacy

How we handle uploaded files and account data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
